    Description

There is a pull request for meta-ivi to fix an issue for Java 8:
      https://github.com/GENIVI/meta-ivi/pull/18

However, it is not nice to make special hacks in the build system (unless we really have to).

Therefore, can support for Java 8 be fixed in CommonAPI upstream? We should keep support for older versions of course. Please let us know.

      | It's highly recommended that you fix the library with 'execstack -c
      | <libfile>', or link it with '-z noexecstack'.
