    Description

      Task description

The Genivi Fuel Stop Advisor is to be integrated into the Genivi Development Platform.

The application was demonstrated at hands on session at the Genivi AMM October 2015.

      Patches were provided for meta-genivi-demo

The patch (8.0.1) was tested, however the patch version numbering caused confusion, as at that point in time there was no meta-genivi-demo version that supported meta-ivi 8.0.1, it was deemed that it was generated from a fairly current commit of meta-genivi-demo and as such was built with meta-ivi 7.x.x. Instructions were followed to launch the FSA using the provided file archive including launch script, however matching results could not be achieved tinkering.

So as a starting point, the patch should be created for the against the current HEAD of meta-genivi-demo, and provided as a documented patch series to the genivi-projects mailing list

It is also recommended that all patches are tested and built using the genivi-demo-platform repo as the base, taking for instance the Porter branch, this ensures that all layers are in sync.

Once a reproducible and current build is produced, integration work can take place to get the FSA into the hmi-launcher, along with the existing demo applications.
