Task Background

After moving from a $target branch to a single branch, some improvements need to be done in order to take care of several corners cases and somne other efficiency issues. A next step will be to have this new structure integrated with our current CI service, among other tasks.

Task description

The following tasks needs to be done, among others, that will be tracked as subtasks:

• Integrate local.conf file according to device brand (not specific SoC) as tom.pollard's suggested in irc
• When I run "source init.sh" in genivi-dev-platform, local.conf and bblayers.conf are updated. However some developers don't want update those files because those are modified by them.
  ex) Usally I update local.conf file for adding DL_DIR to use one premirror in my local. Evaluate this case.
• Integration of the new single branch into go.cd with the CI infrastructure.

Other tasks will be added as subtasks to this ticket as needed. We consider this ticket an ongoing effort.
