You need to click the home menu twice after clicking in an ICS app for the home menu to appear

With HDMI to large monitor, no ethernet/wifi, usb mouse

If you go into the environmental controls app and click one of the centre buttons and then try to click the top left genivi icon the home screen doesn't appear, you have to click it again to get back home.

Same issue trying the pop out menu. You need a second click for focus to get back to the control menu
