    Description

      Some change between weston 1.6 and 1.9 has caused the weston-keyboard client to pop up whenever a text field is clicked into. Unfortunately, this somehow blocks all input, leaving the system stuck.

      I have disabled weston-keyboard in the meantime, but ideally the GDP HMI should have a virtual keyboard, because real HMIs don't have keyboards.

      This cannot be considered a bug but a behaviour change. We assign it an Issue Type Bug to simplify the management of the ticket.
