    Description

      The Component Owner is an individual from GENIVI member company that is responsible for this component within the GENIVI baseline. The Component Owner is not the maintainer of the component. This role is rather comparable to a Debian Package Maintainer.

      The Component Owner would also have to track the component's relevance to compliance (and in particular which versions of the component is relevant to which version of the compliance spec).
