Error when loading project via Qtcreator

Under qtcreator following the README instructions, I get the following
error:

QQmlApplicationEngine failed to load component
qrc:/qml/main.qml:33 Type Home unavailable
qrc:/qml/Home.qml:63 Type FeatureArea unavailable
qrc:/qml/FeatureArea.qml:2 module "com.jlr.hmicontroller" is not installed

I'm hoping to go from using Qtcreator to creating a basic yocto recipe for the project, so it can at least be launched manually on the target GDP systems
