Background

The GDP roadmap was done for the period Nov 2015 until 14th AMM, in April 2016. After delivering the delivery model changes it is time to create the roadmap until 15th AMM

Task description

• Develop a roadmap proposal and sent it to mailing list: GDP-276
• Discuss it with the GDP community
• Approve it: approved on the GDP call on July 13th
  • Decision taken to release GDP 11 and skip of GDP 10
• Create the roadmap document based now on the approved scenario.
• Send it to the projects mailing list.
• Publish it in the Roadmap wiki page
• Discuss it
  • in the GDP call
  • With EG leads.
• Approve it.
  • Timeline for GDP 11 beta approved and communicated
  • Timeline for GDP 11 RC1 approved it and communicated
  • Timeline for GDP 11 RC2 release
  • Timeline for GDP 11 RC2 and RC3 releases
• Change the roadmap document to reflect when was approved.
• Attach it to the roadmap page and publish it as approved.

Second modification of the deadline

GDP 11 turned into GDP RC2 and a new release for Oct 18th as RC3 with the new HMI

The following tasks needs to be performed:

• Update the Roadmap document to reflect the new reality
• Update the document and images at the Roadmap page
• Develop a roadmap proposal and sent it to mailing list not done, not announced previously
• Discuss it with the GDP community discussed at the GDP call
• Approve it:
• Create the roadmap document
• Send it to the projects mailing list. Not done
• Publish it in the Roadmap wiki page

Modification on the GDP 11 timeline

• During the PMO call on Tuesday Sept. 27th a proposal to change the timeline was made.
• After a discussion during the GDP call, it was agreed a change in the timeline:
  • GDP 11 release would be turned into GDP RC2
  • Integration of the new HMI published by ICS would start with the idea of releasing GDP 11 at some point after the AMM
