GDP 11 RC3

M2 Porter board.
GDP-11RC3.
Description
Problem
The new HMI in GDP-11 defaults to a resolution of 1920x1080p. The Porter board has a maximum reliable resolution of 1080i, or 720p if interlacing is not supported on the monitor, on the HDMI and Analog RGB outputs.
The visual effect depends on the connected monitor. On my GeChic 1080p monitor the launcher HMI is displayed ok. However when an application is started it is rendered overlapping the left hand side bar.
Notes
This is a limitation of the board. The M2 SoC can support 1080p.
Tom Pollard reported that when GDP can not get a resolution it defaults to 1080p.
Although not an exhaustive list some solutions come to mind:
1. Change the GDP default resolution to 720p
2. Change GDP to select 720p if 1080p is not reported as supported.
3. Set Porter to 720p or 1080i (some modern monitors do not support interlacing). Assumes GDP will adopt to that case.
