Background

LRT Team has made an evaluation of GDP-ivi9. The results were presented by claus-peter.wiedemann at the 15th AMM. In order to improve the speed and the efficiency of the licese review the following actions were proposed:

• Propose some fixes to Yocto and/or upstream projects. Many packages do not provide the licese information as they should.
• By mirroring all sources used in GDP, license checks can be done before integration, flagging when a license has change so LRT can review.
• During the validation stage, LRT would doa final check before releasing.

Develop a process for publishing license-compliant release artifacts based on the experience we have now from the release of GDP-ivi9 beta in the license compliance area and using AGL as example
