Description
QEMUX84-64 branch of genivi-demo-platform upgrade to genivi baseline 9 (meta-ivi 9)
Qemu will be used as the base of the upgrade as it does not require any external support
from BSP meta layers.

Most append or recipe issues have been resolved, allowing bitbake to start the build process.
The current build environment fails at do_patch for weston, which has upgraded in this baseline release
from 1.5 to 1.6. The build log has been attached 'log.do_patch.12861' highlighting the patch failure.
The failure stems from not being able to apply the browser_poc_hack.patch
The patch, and the corresponding changes to the underlying source from the transition to 1.5-1.6 is to be assessed
to decide the best course of action.
Another issue has been found when upgrading from Audiomanager6.2 to 7.0, which stems
from the Pulse Audio Plugin patch series that caused issues from 6.0 to 6.2. Both the control and routing patches fail to apply due to the upstream changes in CMakeLists.txt and the now invalid diff carried in the patches.
The change from 6.2 to 7.0 is large, so it is expected that other carried patches fail to apply across many files in the source, or previous functionality of said patches may not work.
